People eating babies called Kale?

Typical, we were eating this stuff here from the time we arrived.
Now it's getting to have a shortage.
Mind you, the price of veggies in our part of the world has gone up so much it's not funny.
And, the quality has gone down. Most of the veggies we get last under a week before going off and some are molding internally the day we buy them.
We're heading down the freeze dried and frozen path as fresh no longer means that.
It means held in cold storage till 10% of the stock starts going off, to raise the price since there is a shortage while we hold it, then we sell the lot at a record profit.
Even farmers markets are now full of shit.
They sell stuff from commercial places because all the local farmers farm corn for the ethanol industry.
