Not quite kosher, but...

....damn good.
Equal volume cream cheese and smoked salmon as a spread on cracker (triskets are great!) or a warm plain bagel. If you get over a cup of spread try adding relish to taste.
I've practically lived on this for 4 days!
Time to smoke some fish...

Italiam salami with melted smoked swiss..... great sammies!

Gotta avoid any thing with high acid content, but i can even hold down pasta!

If the acid in like a "red gravy" (marinara, or any red pasta sauce) is a problem... try adding a pinch of sugar to it... BUT ONLY A PINCH! NO more than that! You don't want to taste the sugar... just neutralize the acid.... Give me sometime... I can think of a few other ideas... 8-)

Actually, that would be kosher. Fish is neutral and can be served with either meat or dairy (but not both at the same time).

Smoked trout or smoked white fish is also excellent with cream cheese. I haven't tried relish (I assume this is a pickle relish), but it might be nice. I like pickle relish in my tuna salad. Raw onions are a standard addition to lox and cream cheese.

OK, now I really want a bagel with lox.

mmmmm lox

I'm hoping for smoked salmon. If there isn't any, i'm breaking out the smoker - gotta make more chicken soup any way.
