Just as long as your flying monkeys don't take a high-altitude dump on my car, we're cool... :ugeek:

And now it's October, thank goodness. I just read Liam Meilleur's email to you from two years ago, impressive work. http://rainydayeden.blogspot.com/?m=1

ETA: what is needed is teflon cars, that's all

thanks for the link, grapes. i told liam that his wife was much nicer than i. when michael expressed doubts about being accepted by clarion i told him that, speaking as one who'd spent the past many years working in statistics, i could assure him that while he might be correct and have only a small chance of getting in, if he didn't apply his chane was exactly zero.

cid, that's gross. the flying monkeys are well-behaved. for monkeys, that is.

loresinger, thank you but i really am quite imperfect.

thank you, everyone. now go tell someone who's important to you that he/she is. and if you're on hugging terms go ahead and toss in a hug.

Take joy in your "imperfections". They keep people from being bored with each other.

CM you're an Angel I'm sure you haven't wronged anybody.

I'd probably find it easier to email everyone and ask them to point out if I HADN'T wronged them.

another year, another chance to put things right, another request.

please, if i have offended you in any way, let me know. it's so easy to write something that will sting when that was not the intent.

thanks.

OK, you've offended me. :P You and YOUR people closed my gym this week. I wasted a trip there Monday and didn't get to work out. If only you would have printed up a schedule telling me when you'd be closed I could have.....oh wait, there it is in my gym bag.

Nevermind.

Ditto!

By the way, is it just me or is this holiday earlier than usual this year?

I cannot think of how you could even be remotely offending - we love you!

thank you all. i love you too. as i've said before, the people on this list have been wonderfully supportive of michael and of me.

thumper, i apologize in all sincerity for the gym distributing notices that could be overlooked or misplaced. i'm sure that they will try to do better. now will you apologize for the fact that one of *your* people (my surgeon) has cleared me for all activities within reason and i must resume workouts? (one would think that bouncing around like a demented ping pong ball 5 days a week would be plenty but no. one must also do a weight-bearing routine.) can you guess where i'll be tomorrow at 8?

rommie, no, rosh hashannah is always the 1st of tishrei. (see what i mean about my weakness for the wise crack?) oh, you mean wrt to the english calendar. yes, it is. next year it'll be 03oct.

pumpkinpi, thank you but i really don't think that i'm strong. i'm just putting 1 foot in front of the other and trying to keep my promises.

If you have offended me it was as nothing compared to my offenses. Ok, probably a poor attempt at sounding noble or Shakespearian. But, I think you get the gist CM. ;)

CM, I apologize for the fact that you're healthy enough to do to whatever you want. :P
It's a pain, but it's a good pain.

and i apologize for the fact that i was not clear. i am not a gym rat. my favorite exercise is a good brisk sit. yes, the endorphin rush when the class leader says, 'that's it, guys. have a good day.' is amazing. however i go to the pool (and now the gym) because it's healthy. with the same enthusiasm that i bring to flossing.

I like flossing. My teeth and gums feel so much better.

As to 'that time of year', the only umbrage that I can take with you is the quality of your character, compassion and strength that serves to show how lacking my own is in comparison. You have set the bar high my lady, and I can only hope that someday when I grow up I can attain a mere fraction of what you have displayed.

hap, i like the results. the work? not so much.

thank you but i feel totally unworthy of your praise. strength? character? take a look in the mirror. please do not sell yourself short. you've displayed plenty of both.

thank you all for your support and kindness.

now go and hug someone you're on hugging terms with. tell someone who's important to you that you're glad that he/she is in your life. you don't have to stop at 1.

call home. someone wants to hear from you.

yes, it's that time of year.

please, if I have offended any of you and we have not settled matters, let me know. I want to set things right. it is so easy to give offence when one has only words and no tone of voice or facial expression to convey meaning.

thanks.
