Posted: Fri Oct 07, 2016 7:42 pmVery nice piece. I've read her stuff since the 70s and had a course in college (on sociology) which used two of her books: The Left Hand of Darkness and The Dispossessed. The Lathe of Heaven is almost mind altering.

She's a national treasure, although I'm not sure I'd describe her as 'courageous'.
