Oh, when I got into the car this morning there was a nice story about her on NPR. She seemed well ahead of her time.

"The Left Hand of Darkness" had such a huge influence on me when I was a teenager. I think I'm still realizing ways it spoke to me. :(

It’s my all time favorite book. I used to think, many years ago, that women didn’t write science fiction as well as men did. LeGuin blew that idea right out of my head.
