First, for the selfish reasons I'm excited.
They get on the bus at 6:50 a.m. so I can leave for work right away, and get there before 7:30!
There is only one place I need to go to pick them up so that will save time at the end of the day. MrPi and I will share the duties. It's actually somewhat on his way home. For me, it's completely out of the way. I go 3.5 miles northeast from work to home, then another 3 miles west through horrendous rush hour traffic to get to the school. It's not that far, really, but from the time I leave my desk to the time I get home is about 45 minutes. So it will give me more flexibility for MrPi to make the pickup!
We are now paying less than half what we did for child care last year. With Russter's preschool and Buster's after school care it was about $1500/month. Now it will be about $600/month!!
And I just can't wait to watch my little girl grow. Buster's development in his first two years of grade school was leaps and bounds above his last two years of preschool. This girl is amazing and she's going to be a star!
