Nothing major, but currently riding that awesome wave when you meet with the boss and show that you're doing a good job and he's satisfied.

Doubly good actually because this morning I was nervous cause my big simulation wasn't working, but when I arrived I learned he decided to move our usual morning meeting to the afternoon. And those few extra hours were just what I needed to get the darn thing running!

Going through final edits on an article that will be in the December issue of Astronomy- it actually has to go to press this week so going this down to the wire is unheard of for them and my editor is stressing a bit about this, but closest to "stop the presses!" I'll get in a long while so I enjoy it. ;)

Reason it's taking so long is I had an idea for an article that is seriously graphics-heavy, and man did the graphic artist over there deliver as it's just beautiful. I could never do the graphics side, and it is somehow such a quietly wonderful thing to see a beautiful idea come to life that I couldn't have done alone but convinced others should be done, and will now be enjoyed by others. I don't know if that makes sense, but there we are. :)
