So I'm going to Colombia

I learned this week that my institution was awarded a major grant that I was the lead in writing and will manage. It will involve an exchange of teachers and museum pprofessional between here and Medellin Colombia. It's a yearlong project, and I'll be traveling there in the spring!

Oh very cool- I have a lot of friends who love Mendellin. Can't walk down the street holding your phone or camera though. How long are you going for?

Btw interesting thing, a friend in the dept who's a PhD student (and will be finishing next spring) is from Colombia, and his goal is to go back and help build the astronomy/physics programs there when he's done. So if you want tips I'll ask!
