Tail of the Dragon

Yeah, this is good news. I have a sports car that rocks!

Ahem. Anyway, my Subaru BRZ is quite a pleasure to drive on roads that offer some challenge to the suspension and traction capabilities of the vehicle. Specifically, the Tail of the Dragon, aka known as Hwy 129 just south of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (which is awesome too, by the way).

Two runs at tire screeching speed. No one died and no law enforcement activities. Woo hoo. Photos to follow after I buy them from the various photographers stationed along the road.

I like my new car. 8-)

Someday I'd like to make that run.
I have seen numerous videos of that road.
Use caution...sometimes the Dragon bites back...

You could go for a spin on the Skyline drive and do some sightseeing.
Bear!
Where?
Back there.
Bear!
Where?
Back there.
Bear...

I also drove the Cherohala Skyway, if that's the one you mean. And then drove through the local huge national park. Plus a few other roads. Lot of driving, in other words.

OK, that one. I drove it when I stopped in on you guys a couple of years ago (has it been that long?). It's a nice scenic road, but not one you want to drive fast on.
