News that's fit to...

Well... I'm sure that Fisher hasn't told anyone.... here's what's been going on....
Cookie is now engaged to her young man (father of the Crumb) and is also now an LPN.
We are working on permanent custody of the grandboy, who informed us that his "little boy name" was Poe, but his "big boy name" was Sean, and he is a big boy, so would we PLEASE call him Sean. And when he becomes our "forever boy", could he please have our last name?
We found a school that works with Sean's special needs. I was right when I said that he was autistic. He is very highly functioning, but he has issues dealing with the wider world. The school that he's in now, helps him to deal with that. He still has "angry white boy" issues, but they are few and farther between, thank the Gods. And we don't have to worry about him being expelled anymore.
We just became great-grandparents. Yeah... I know... the thought blows me away too!
I graduate in the spring, and start at CalState Sacramento in the fall, to finish my degree in Political History.
Fisher is going to retire from the military (after 40 years of Active and Reserve service) in July. This one I'll believe when I see the retirement papers.
Now you know everything....
