A boss worth bragging about

My boss started trying to change my work designation nearly a year ago. She finally succeeded in upping me one level from a clerk to an AA. It's a small financial help but BIG when I know how hard she had to fight to get this from a not-for-profit company in NY.
A boss who has your back is priceless.

she actually called me at home Monday when I was sick because she felt I would want the news no matter what (she knows me too well)
I truly treasure the fact that she just lets me do my job. I can count on less than one hand the number of times I've met with her about anything other than "can you do this?"
The other people with whom I work are similar. They know what I can do and just let me do it... oh and feed them periodically
