It's an organ that is not needed once the baby is delivered. It's not alive. How *should* we treat it?

If people want to eat it--gross, but fine with me. Making it into a teddy bear is even grosser because other people have to be exposed to it. But, to each his own--as long as it isn't forced on me!

To note: out of over 20 cultural traditions described, only 3 mention doing anything other than ultimately burying it.
