I think someone mentioned this somewhere else, but is there a way to increase the size limit for our avatars? I can't seem to make my Homer Simpson one small enough. 8-)

the quick & dirty way is to use MS Office Picture Manager and use either Resize of Compress. that's what i used as i was in the office, but every photo manipulation program will do it.

That's all I did. Took a couple of iterations but it was done in 45 seconds.

Don't have MS Office Picture Manager on this (school) machine...or at least I haven't found it yet...
I think it's on a machine out at the club radio station. If so, I'll have to go through what I've got and
choose one...or take a new pic...did I mention I have five cameras now?

The advantage of compress over resize is that my pic keeps the max allowable size.

Found a way to do it.
http://www.imageresizer.com/
You can rejigger just about anything to anything else...size, quality, you name it.
Been using this program for ages for converting one format to another, one resolution to another...
Now it seems it can convert sizes and compression.
User recommended. And it's a freebie download!!

Hot skittledeedingdong...I gots an avatar again!
