i find that when i submit a post i get the message 'you must be logged in to post in this forum'. i *was* logged in. yes, it may have taken me a while to write the post but everything's gone! can anything be done about this? besides writing the post outside of the forum and then pasting it in?

Do you have your log in set to keep you logged in? In other words, when you log in, click the box that says to log you in automatically on every visit. If you're not comfortable with always being logged in, you can manually log yourself out at the end of your visit. Let me know if this works.

I think that the software will log you out after sitting on the same page for a period of time, considering it as 'idle' (it may not consider typing in the posting field as 'activity'), so taking a long time to compose a post will log you out as idle. The only way around it as a user is to check the automatic log in box.

You aren't the only one who has had this issue. Not everyone can type as fast as I can.

It happens to me when I'm double checking things, and end up on a "Wiki-walk"... (kinda like a walkabout, only I do it on Wiki... Don't ask...)
