Democrat: Fuck no! This country was built by people pulling their own weight.
Republican: Shoot the god damned lazy government hand out sponge.
Liberal: If I was adequately compensated, I guess.
Tea Partier: I don't understand the question. It makes no sense. Like Obama's birth certificate. Oh wait, is he white or something else?

So by those definitions, yeah, I probably am a no good socialist that would help out the old person without expecting anything in return. :P
