Edit: Maybe it seems opportunistic to you, but there are going to be serious questions asked about it in the next few days. If lax long gun rules allowed these men to arm themselves, the laws need to change. And those responsible for breaking those rules are going to be in trouble.
Why CNN is talking to an American expert who is unfamiliar with the situation here rather than a Canadian expert, I don't understand.
Edit; CBC now reporting that there was speculation of a raised terror threat in Canada... that the government denied. Then there have been two attacks on CF members and Parliament, which was what was allegedly being threatened. That's troubling.
