I think the movie I know him best from was Lawrence of Arabia. Which, to be clear, is fucking awesome and I want to rewatch now.

Strangely, one of the movies I associate Sharif with is Mackenna's Gold. I think it was because my father really, really liked the scenes where Julie Newmar swam naked in a pool. Once I got a bit older, I appreciated my father's interest in the movie.

And yeah, Lawrence of Arabia is epic. It defines epic. RIP Mr. Sharif.
