I'm a bit worried about how they'll handle Chani, and the extensively white cast is a point of annoyance as always. (Like WTF that's not even book canon, it's the year 2020, come on.) But it def looks like an improvement on the David Lynch version.

I watched the trailer. It has a couple of actors we like. David Batisita appears to be playing a Harkonnen. I will have to hate him in the movie. 
It also looks like Duncan Idaho will be played by Jason Momoa. 
I am crossing my fingers that I will feel it is safe enough to see it on the big screen when it comes out.
