Wind Waves Fetch and Duration

More than anyone wanted to know about the generation of waves based on several factors.
From there you can calculate if the wave generation is wind, duration or fetch limited and by observing current conditions will be able to tell if the sea state is getting better, worse or has reached saturation.

Going by this and the wind roses for the Pacific in May predicting a force 4 wind most of the way (11-14 knots)

Damn this site is great.
When you register (its free) you can get any weather related courses to study or download.
It has questions and interactive weather maps.

So I registered and am studying the wave and ocean prediction stuff.
Best site so far I've found bar none when it comes to this.
