orders for the day

orders for the day

Postby code monkey » Wed Jul 23, 2014 2:43 pm

today is my wedding anniversary. not the easiest of days. while we never made a great fuss we still marked the occasion and that just underlines the fact that michael's gone.

you all have known michael for far longer than you've known me and so i ask you to do this - go hug the people in your life who are closest to you. wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/... tell her/him/them how much they mean to you. they know it but it's good to hear it and even better to say it. and if there's nobody, i'm very sorry. i know what that's like and i apologize for bringing it up. call me if you want.

i know that this isn't the first time that i've told you to do this. fair warning - it won't be the last.
and still i persist in wondering whether folly must always be our nemesis. edgar pangborn

come gentle night. come loving black browed night
give me my romeo. and when he shall die
take him and cut him out in little stars
and he will make the face of heaven so fine
that all will be in love with night
and pay no worship to the garish sun. william shakespeare

I have to raincheck until next week, when I see my parents (no one nearby to hug these days, but not super upset- I have many good people in my life). But I promise I will.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.
