And now "All things all at once" by some band called Tired Pony. Heard it on the radio earlier and and had to find it... No, I'd never heard of them either. But it's pretty damn heartbreaking.

I like hopping in the car, turning on the rock station, and tooling around rural back roads after dark when I'm feeling anxious. Calms me down, relaxes me - I think the driving occupies the low-level mechanistic/physical control portions of my brain, and the music occupies the upper-level portions. Ends up pushing the anxiety right out.

I desperately need to have Paul update my Ipod. I play it on clinic days at work as it seems to calm our clients. However, the same music over and over... well ya know. ITunes and I will have a date as soon as I find a new writing client (the one I've been working with recently has had a setback with cancer -- such a good woman, I will not give her name but keep her in your thoughts -- I have worked with her over 5 yrs and I pray that this disease doesn't claim another wonderful human

I'm listening to Leavin' On a Jet Plane, and it's breakin' my heart because it really fits at the moment... except for the cheating part. Never did that. Never will. And that verse just started playing as I wrote this, and so I went from tears to laughter. But yeah, the third verse really fits.
