RIP Meadowlark Lemon

The legendary hoopster/entertainer has died.

I think I got the chance to see him play twice. I know at least once at the UND Fieldhouse sometime between '72-'74.

The Globetrotters were a big deal when I was young. Meadowlark Lemon was the man.

Ditto, when I was young! At least for me. I saw them play in the mid to late 90's. Good times.

I remember a few "matches" being aired on tv in the 70's and they did play that game on "Gilligan's Island"
