They are the ones that introduced anti corruption laws in Tallahassee.

Here's the link to the Princeton Study that shows voting in the USA effectively is like statistical noise for the general population to get their way. All it does is put someone else in power that does the bidding of the rich: http://scholar.princeton.edu/sites/defa ... cs.doc.pdf

Maybe this will change things. I hope so.
Thanks for all the fish.

Yeah. I've been saying this for about a decade but with no real evidence it's hard to convince anyone.
Kind of got me very depressed on both accounts. Seeing it and not being able to get anyone to even believe me.
I was the raving nut job. Of course, I still am but now I have evidence...that I am a raving nut job. lol

That has now changed with the Princeton study and the Tallahassee precedent. I was* aware of the Princeton study but it's meaningless without a way to oppose the system. Today I found out about the Tallahassee vote. So I'm sharing.

The good news is that things can change so long as we make people aware of it.
Which is why I jumped on it.
Spread the word. The problem and the solution. If enough people do so, things will change.

I was depressed as well, and I felt "vindicated" over being apathetic about voting (even though I still always vote).

But then, I watched the video about what they're doing to change things, and suddenly, I had hope again!

I added my email to their list. FWIW I also shared the link on FB. Since I live in Sacramento (the capitol of California) I might even get involved in a grassroots effort or two.
