I wasn't clear. i said that the best people liked carbs, not that they followed a diet that relied on them.

I believe that you still have the use of your hands. ask loresinger to draw you a map to the kitchen and go make some. (or ask her to join you in the preparation.)

and while you're at it, make them knaidlach mit neshomes (dumplings with souls). the simplest approach would be to take some of the dough, add cinnamon to it and then tuck a bit of this into the center of each knadle. (other possibilities exist but that's the way my grandmother made them.)
