movie scene

Postby code monkey » Wed Apr 27, 2016 10:57 am

once again I ask for your help.

I am now able to use the garage to park the car and go into the house through the inside door. a great improvement.

however, when I open the garage door to leave, I have a brief flash of a scene in which someone does that and finds a large group of people with guns(not handguns. more like heavy duty rifles) aimed at him.

my question is simply this - what movie is this from?

many thanks.

For some reason it reminds me of the St Valentine's Day Massacre. Al Capone sent his rivals a special valentine. :)

thanks for the suggestions.

I will review tarantino films. I don't believe that I've ever seen one but perhaps the scene was in a trailer.

fisher, these guns would never fit in a violin case. a cello case, maybe. I think that the people waiting outside are from law enforcement.

I gravitated towards Goodfellas in my brief search. But not having seen the entire movie, I couldn't confirm that was it.

There was a similar scene in "The Usual Suspects" when one of the characters is in his garage and the cops do the same.
But he was under the car at the time.

Do you have a time frame when you saw the movie?
So we can narrow it down some.
Thanks for all the fish.

There is this scene from the Blues Brothers...

I didn't think of that. Actually I can't view your image from here at work. But I remember the scene exactly.
(Maybe I'll have to add to my movie thread.) :P

I think that it's 'the usual suspects'. I've seen both films (the blues brothers several times. a favorite.) and while I don't remember the scene in the usual suspects, the opening garage door is key to my image, not the tax assessor's office.

thanks, guys!

No worries.
I tried to find the clip for you but couldn't.
I did find a whole bunch of stuff where people were asking the meaning of the ending.
I was like, W.T.F...
Thanks for all the fish.
