ToSeeked! Yeah, the original, dating back to the 13th century, I think.

As I stated earlier, beer is good. My recent trip through the western US was an exercise of finding brewpubs near national parks and monuments. The procedure was 1) decide which park or monument to visit, 2) figure out where the nearest decent-sized town was, 3) find a brewpub or good pub. If #3 failed, revisit #2.

That procedure caused me to avoid overnighting in the state of Utah altogether. I think the US should invade Utah and force them to change their stupid beer laws. Or take away their national parks.

Now those are reasons I can support for invading Utah! :P

So btw, beer fans, are any of you guys on Untappd? It's sorta like Facebook but for beers.

I ask because I think a ton of people downloaded it at some point but then lost interest after a few beers, a category I myself was in. But then my boyfriend is really into adding every new beer so I picked it up again too, and I'm looking for people to follow. :)

I could see you being into it since you already do all the Yelp reviews and stuff. :) Plus sometimes you get discounts on events through it, and it can tell you if a favorite beer is available nearby.

Apparently there is a similar thing for wine btw, but I am not yet using that one!

Naw, I don't need a phone to drink.

I had a few Allagash Whites during my recent trip to Maine. A very nice Belgian style.

We went out to eat the other day and my wife was looking for something sweet and the waiter recommended Lindemans Pêche, a peach Lambic. She loved it. It was a little too sweet for my taste, and it hardly tasted like beer, more like a sweet, peachy champagne. But for what it was, it was pretty good.

I like Brown Ales, IPA's, and Black IPA's. Haven't heard of a Brown IPA, and I don't think we have that flavor of Sweetwater up here yet. So enjoy one for me. :P

Yeah, that's a good one. It was a "back door" way for me to get a buddy to start drinking IPA's. He loves the stuff. Now I've got him drinking standard IPA's.
