Every time I turn around, things get more infuriating. Case in point,

Republicans acting like they are now super tolerant and pro LGBTQ rights!

Ha, ha, ha. They only just made it a central point of their platform to undo the SCOTUS decision on same-sex marriage. Trump only just picked Mike Pence as VP. The Repubs just got over openly insulting the President over the stupid bathroom bill. Who do they think they're fooling?

They only had honest-to-God Klansmen rocking it up outside the convention center, barking the praises of their precious super-tolerant nominee. How utterly goddamn stupid do they think we are?! Do they think we have the attention span of nematodes?

... Oh, right. We let this guy become the Republican nominee, instead of putting him in prison with the other crooks. Thanks a lot.

It makes me feel like puking. I mean that literally. The sheer, blunt, hammering stupidity of it makes my stomach hurt.

I think my country has gone mad.

The Republican party has been fucked up for a while now, it's just worse now than it's ever been. 'We' had nothing to do with it.

Recall they chose W as their nominee. How'd that work out for us?

GJ - your need to take responsibility for everything has GOT to stop. You didn't choose where you were born. You didn't choose to be a white male. You are a kind, generous, empathetic soul. STOP taking responsibility for shit that has nothing to do with you. Part of the U.S. is very fucked up. The government is very fucked up. Neither of those things are your fault. You are a victim in this, much like the rest of us who care about progress and society helping the weakest. Don't lump yourself in with the oppressors, and don't lump us in with them. I don't think we have a single Trump voter on FWIS.
