That time of year again. The Toronto International Film Festival kicks off today. Opening the festival will be a screening of The Magnificent Seven, this evening. The festival runs from today through the 18th. This year's invasion by Hollywood and others has begun.

Check out Brimstone if you can- I'm in it!

Ok, in more detail, the filming was done in Eastern Europe, and the director is a famous Dutch director doing his first international film. As the film takes place in the Wild West, they needed Americans to do the voiceovers even for background characters, so I got to do very minor amounts.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

I don't think I'll be going to any screenings this year. Price for a Gala screening (stars, director in attendance, possible Q and A or panel discussion) $56 , a regular screening $32. Magnificent Seven, did get good reviews. I heard somewhere the Stones may be in town for the screening of a doc about their recent Latin/ S. American tour ending with a concert in Havana. Oliver Stone will be giving a talk or a Q & A about Snowden.

Rommie, I took a quick glance at the festival's website, didn't see Brimstone listed.
