Looking on the Bright Side

Postby SciFi Chick » Thu Oct 20, 2016 1:59 am

Today is the 35th anniversary of when I got hit by a car, had to spend five weeks in traction and six months in two casts. No matter what crap I'm going through right now, it's a better day. :D

Happy anniversary.

Don't do it (get hit by a car) again.

That's my plan. It's why I would suck at being a pedestrian in NYC.

I still cross streets like that (I grew up in NYC). You have to remember it (crossing the street) is a competitive sport.

yes, it is. I remember the occasional pedestrian revolt - a bunch of people, tired of waiting for the light to change just crossing and stopping traffic.

I miss my city.

and happy anniversary, sfc. many more happy, healthy ones.
