I've read xkcd for years and love it. :) My moment of mild paranoia about it though came when I read this one. This is because of my Reddit infamy for saying "astronomer here!" with fun astronomy facts, and knowing that Randall who writes it hangs out on Reddit, so I ended up thinking it was about me far more than I should have.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

I'm not geeky enough so I had to Google moire. I had an idea why distortion patterns showed when photographing a TV but didn't know the term was moire patterns.
