Tillerson Fired

Postby SciFiFisher » Tue Mar 13, 2018 6:16 pm

Today, the Tweeter in Chief, announced via the usual method that Rex Tillerson is now free to go back to Exxon. Rex Tillerson Out

The NY Times reports that the rift between Tillerson and the Tweeter In Chief has been brewing from day one. I find it very interesting that the announcement came one day after Tillerson publically agreed with Britain that Russia poisoned a retired double agent in Britain and that the U.S. would support Britain in condemning Russia. Trump, apparently, disagrees with that position.

I mean, it's not a shocker seeing as Tillerson called Trump a fucking moron. But really not a good look.

I've noticed that apparently online a lot of people have taken to referring to the amount of time people work for Trump in units of Mooches, after the ill-fated Scaramouchi (sp?). Apparently Tillerson lasted about 40.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

I'm not sure if that was the trigger (that wouldn't be my guess, but what do I know), the trade embargoes, or the North Korean meeting. If I had to guess it would be a combination, with maybe North Korean the biggest thing. I think Tillerson is tired of learning about foreign policy changes by reading Twitter.

Nah. He just thinks "The Apprentice" has moved to the White House. ;)

I wish he'd fire DeVos.

Well one thing is certain, the minute Sessions gets the boot, all allegations on Russia are going to move forward a couple of notches on credibility.

Oh no! The House Intelligence Committee said that Russia did not specifically collude with Trump to win the election. Sessions is off the hook for a week or two. :P

And now McCabe is fired in what appears to be an obvious fit of spite and contempt. This is a synopsis of the situation.

The Hill did a reasonable compilation of the major points.
