Hi all! :)

Poking around the new place. I hope we can get some of the old stuff over, as this feels quite empty.

That and I'm worried if the old URL never even redirects to here we will lose a few folks who posted a little bit every few months- there weren't many, but they did exist.

Just some thoughts though, congrats brite on getting this up! :D

Fisher thought about that too... and I'll try to set something up... Hopefully, they will follow us, and not feel too put out about the whole thing....

Yosh totally needs to email TSC and give him the new link.

brite - you've done a fantastic job. I like the new set up and the new smilies. Now, if we can just get the moving van to bring our stuff over, I'll feel at home.

I posted the link on Facebook.. but I don't have the email addresses of many of our "fwamily"... Right now, they are locked up somewhere in Iky's computer... Soon as I can get him to help me get to that (the archives), it'll be easier to email those who posted their contact info... (OR... I suppose that a few ounces of C4 under the ex-hosting company's... )

I'm working on a bounce page... but didn't really have time today... hopefully, I'll get time tomorrow... :geek:

Is it just me, or did everyone have to re-register?

Everyone has to re-register. :( Part and parcel of moving the board to it's own domain. But see? It has it's own domain and EVERYTHING! I'm working on an opening page, with Iky. He had done this beautiful picture, part of a series, with the dragon... and it's called "Coming Home"... He said we can use that as our homepage background. I don't want to clutter it up, so it's going to take me a few days to make it all pretty, before I put it up.

And then there's the jump page for the old site. The sad part is, Trish is letting go of Loresinger. But she and Iky gave their blessing to FWIS3 before it's founding (in fact it was their idea! I just got fed up with dealing with the customer non-service with the other hosting company...). And so... here we are!

The paint is still wet... there are still a few bugs in the system... and the admin is still re-learning things that I forgot when Cookie was an infant... but... all in all... Not too shabby, if I do say so myself...
