This is a website to track US govt website traffic, and looks like even though it hasn't been up 24 hours yet 50 million people have visited- heard of some minor snafus, but nothing major. Pretty cool.

Also, funny but my folks both responded exactly as I expect them in anything remotely political- dad saying "of course, remember it's not 'free'- it probably costs quite a lot" and my mom worrying about what else the government will send once they know people's addresses. Because covid of course hasn't cost us anything so far, and the government doesn't already know where people live. Eh, all you can do is laugh.

I had to order a prepaid label for work the day the covid test signup was released, and the website was so overloaded I wasn't able to. It's back to normal now!

We ordered them beginning of the week and got them about 3 days later. Far less demand this time around!
