Same story as ever.

Democrats: "Hmm, people don't like us because the economy is terrible. What if we just... claimed it was actually good? Yes, that should work."

Republicans: "KILL KILL MURDER KILL BURN HEIL HITLER KILL KILL KILL AHAHAHAHA"

Pundits: "Yeah the Dems are gonna lose, I'm sure I'll be okay tho"

General public: "Huh... well the Democrats haven't fixed anything yet... so maybe I'll let the other guys have another turn. Sure they wanna murder my trans cousin, whatever, she's annoying so IDGAF."

Like seriously this shit feels even bleaker than when Trump was in office. Apocalyptic level bleak. Especially with the convergence of climate crisis, uncontrolled pandemic, massive reproductive oppression... IDK how the fuck we're going to survive this. I think I've already given up on the idea of me surviving it.

Sadly, it seems that it's going to be a muddle through mid-term in some ways. I just keep hoping the pundits who keep saying the R team is going to win bigly are wrong.
