I think some people will do just about anything to get attention. Too bad she didn't decide to do porn or something equally respectable and worthwhile.

IRC she's out of politics next year- can't come soon enough! :cheer:

Sorta like how it took a few years, but I'm happy that people have gotten over the national obsession with Sarah Palin- both those who actually liked her, and those who disliked her yet couldn't stop talking about her.

The people who voted her in live as close as 13 miles from me. Though she won by only a percentage point last time.

The man who challenged her is not going to run again. His main goal was to get her out of Washington. He believes that the close race in 2012 was a factor in her decision not to seek reelection, so he was successful.

I'm not so sure. Doonesbury has been featuring her and Trump with more birther stuff all week.

I'm sure she thinks the country *needs* her still. But I'm also sure she thinks the country *needs* to never really pay serious attention to her campaign finance irregularities that she's being investigated for even more, thank goodness.

that liberal-driven witch hunt?

i agree that it would be sensible to keep her head down now. but she hasn't. (is sensible the first word that comes to mind when you think of her?) believe me, i'd be very happy to not hear about her again. i have my hopes up and my fingers crossed.

I've heard some stuff from Barton before. My impression is that he is more stupid than wacko; I think his IQ is between moldy bread and toast.
