<MOS> No. No. No. Everyone knows that the rest of the world is enlightened and fully embraces diversity. the only place with a racism problem is the U.S. <End/MOS>

You just reminded me of a racist joke I heard about 30 years ago.

"Juan Bimba" (that's Venezuelan for "John Q. Public") goes to visit the US for the first in his life, when he comes back, a friend of his asked what he thought about the US and he answers: "Pretty impressive country, but there were two things I didn like: First, the rampant racism there is in the US and second there were too many black people".

Pretty ironic, considering that at least half the population of this country is of mixed race isn't it?

LMBO... truthfully, that isn't all that atypical. You never see the mote in your own eye. ;)

This one is even better

A French MP has sparked outrage and been fined, after he mocked a female colleague by clucking like a chicken in parliament.

The incident was widely denounced as sexist in a country where the word chicken is often used as a derogatory term for women.

Apparently a somewhat sexist slang term for a woman in France is to call her a bird or poulet. In this case I believe the male PM was indeed calling the female PM Veronique Masson a hen.

assuming that the amatory behavior of chickens is similar to that that of turkeys (we were shown a film in psych) makes no sense at all. please, don't try to explain.

sigma, if it's not used in polite company how do you know it?
