Speaking of beer, I've lately been enjoying Red Hare Gangway IPA. A local product - Marietta, Georgia.

Going to a beer tasting this afternoon actually, the local "30 Dutch beers on tap" place is hosting home brewers today, one of whom is my friend, and it's only five houses down from me so guess I should go. :P

I'll second that beer. In fact, I'll have a second beer.

Have picked up a mixed 6 of cans/bottles, beers are brewed in Canada, Denmark and Estonia. Neat how that worked out alphabetically. Two cans of Moosehead, 2 cans of Carlsberg and 2 bottles of A Le Coq.

Never tried A Le Coq but sounds good.

Btw I mentioned it on the Facebook page, but just before we got this up and running my friends and I went on a Belgian beer trip. I mention this because I'm FINALLY looking through my pictures from then, so will post my trip report w them in a little bit. :)

Le Coq - am I pronouncing that right in my head? If it's as good as it sounds, I want to try one! ;)

Pronounce it however you wish! Le Coq is french for "the rooster", so I guess it could be pronounced "cock" or "coke" (I'm thinking along the lines of the way "coq au vin" is pronounced).

They do brew different varieties, but up here we're limited to the A. Le Coq Premium, which is a lager. Wouldn't mind the choice of a darker brew, too.

By the way, I read recently that the quote about "Beer being proof god loves us", attributed to Ben Franklin, was not actually said by him.

It was my mate back in Oz.
Oddly, he's an atheist.

I love apricots and I love beer... I'm just not sure about the combo.

I had a bottle of apple beer today while working.
It was disgusting.
I didn't have a fridge so it was warm too.
Warm disgusting beer.
I drank it all of course.
Now I'm home, I put the rest of the bottles in the fridge to try them cold.
