Got a new gig (funny to say that, I don't get paid) contributing monthly to Astrobites- a site run by astro grad students where we summarize a new astronomy paper each day at an advanced undergraduate level. I'm actually not the best at reading the latest research so figure this is a good way to get around that, plus it's one of those "looks great on a CV!" things/ I like to write anyway, so why not.
So I'll be posting them here as they crop up, I think- I have this job for a year, next year is my last year ie "OMG THESIS!!!" time, so doubt I will do it much longer.
New Evidence of an Asteroid Encountering a Pulsar
(Btw I just realized the advantage of having a "post third Friday of the month" slot- my Astrobite stays on top of the page for the weekend!)
