I seem to have to submit twice to get it sent.
Not sure what's going on there.
Submit puts me into an automatic preview screen.

I am receiving PMs but no PM notifications in email. Please advise.

In your user panel, you have to set it up to let you know that you want those notifications. Umm... hang on a sec... let me...

1. Go to User Panel
2. Click on Board Preferences
3. Left hand side, tabs - Edit Global preferences
4. "Notify me on new private message" - click on yes

You can also have it give you the familiar pop up by clicking on yes for the option below "Pop up window on new private message"

Not really sure what happened, but I composed a rather lengthy post (well, lengthy for me, anyway), hit submit, and it just went *poof* and disappeared into the ether (and I got the confirmation page that it posted)...

I had a brief time when I could not access the board--sometime between 12:30 and 1pm central time. I just got a standard internet "webpage not available" message. I could access all other sites at the time.

It might not be an issue but I thought it was worth reporting.

That happened to me a few times. Last time as in the PM ousted thread.
I looked at the thread a day later and realised my post as gone.

Turns out it's a "feature" of the new board.
If someone has posted between the time you hit reply and post, it tells you that someone has posted and gives you a chance to redo your post.
If you miss this, your post doesn't go through.

I think it's happened to all of us at least once. Maybe it will come in handy if we every have one of those fast moving threads, but at the moment, it's downright annoying. Not a bug though - so this isn't aimed at brite or anything.
