Zorro

I don't know about you gringos (of a certain age of course) but I grew up watching "Zorro" (the Walt Disney Version). And ALWAYS loved that show. To the point that as far as I am concerned Guy Williams did the best representation of the character. If it's on TV I'll watch it no matter how many times I've seen a particular episode.

Now, I just stumbled onto this, it was the first time I actually saw footage of the series where it wasn't dubbed and it turns out that Zorro/Don DIego speaks with fake Spanish accent. (Grumble Grumble damned gringo imperialists :P ).

And incidentally, just like Speedy Gonzalez, the Disney version of Zorro is quite popular south of the Rio Grande :P

It's Disney. Everybody loves Disney. :P

I tend to like them because the Spanish dubbing of their animated movies is so good I prefer them to the original English version :P

Ah, Zorro. We watched a lot of it when I was a kid, as my dad always said "ah, the Z that stands for Zoli!" (his childhood nickname)

The first remake of the movie in the 90s was actually pretty decent btw. Never even bothered to watch the second. Makes me wonder tho if they'll redo another at some point seeing as superhero style stuff is so popular these days, cause that'd make me happy.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

I saw both, as usual, the second one wasn't as good as as the first. Antonio Banderas did a good job but I still think that Guy Williams was better (even if Banderas didn't have to fake his accent :P ).
