Buster's 6!

We all need to hear it... here's the place to share it...

Buster's 6!

Postby pumpkinpi » Wed Sep 02, 2015 5:58 pm

Today is the anniversary of one of the three most important days of my life.

November 3 2007 I married MrPi
September 2 2009 I became a mom
Yes, Buster is 6! Holy hell, I can hardly believe it. We still get one more week of innocence, though. He starts kindergarten on September 9th.

And the third day:
March 20 2012 our family became complete.
In full FWIS form, derailing my own post to become focused on the non-birthday girl. I had always thought I wanted 2 kids, and fortunately MrPi did too. After Buster was born, I knew there was still a missing part of our family, and after Russter was born, that hole was filled. I felt no need to have a third child. Still don't. Good thing, because MrPi has gotten fixed. :D

Here's the birthday boy, whom we can't get to pose for a serious shot!
He had kindergarten orientation this morning, and all kids got their pictures taken. He was being shy so I had to stand behind the photographer and make a silly face to get him to have a genuine smile!

And here's one of the Rooster/Russter, for good measure. Sometimes I can't stand how adorable my daughter is.

The last picture of Buster reminds me of this one from when he was 6 months old. He does this quite often, where he scrunches his face, clenches his teeth and squeezes his fists together. It's always when he's excited. He's done it since he was young (well, obviously). His teacher when he was a baby described it as like he is trying to jump out of his own skin!

Those can't be your kids, they're way too big.

Agreed! (And hey who cares about non-serious pictures, you'll love the silly ones when he's older more anyway. ;) )

Is Russter in ballet class?

I looked at your post(s) Pumpkin and realized that our Poe is only a few months younger than Buster. I told Brite that it is a darn shame you live so far away. It would be awesome if Buster and Poe could have play dates. :)
