I'm not trying to convince you based on that or anything really. I posted that because it shows that the government has desires to control the media.
Now we have intertwined media and politicians. Just follow the money. I could start posting the links but...
When was the last time anyone was convinced of anything via the internet?
When the internet started up, many including me were under the impression that it would make a big difference because people could finally read up on stuff that no one was reporting. That information would somehow create a better world by the expansion of knowledge.
Unfortunately, like everything else it has failed and is corrupted. Information overload prevents people from researching anything unless they have loads of free time and because there is so much garbage hardly anyone believes anything even when it is factual.
As an example, there are anti-vaxers now that are gaining in popularity because of the internet. Go internet. Making the world a better place by confusing the gullible and dividing the people. Try convincing an anti-vaxer that they are actually making a huge mistake. They know better.
The internet tells us that less than 100 people own more wealth than 50% of the rest of the World. What does the population do with that knowledge?
Many blame the poor for being lazy instead of realizing that the corruption in the systems in place allowed those with the exceptional gift of unfathomable greed to take so much and convince the masses that they are doing the right thing.
The rest who acknowledge the problem won't do anything. They would rather elect a person who represents that greed because they fear that the other guy is more greedy. They are both greedy. One has a vagina, the other has a loud mouth. Heads they win, tails you lose. People would rather not try to make it better because they fear they can't make a difference because the media has already told them so many times that they can't win. So let's just be, pragmatic... roflmfao
The people have already lost, some time ago. They will cling onto the belief that there is hope till one day they wake up and find that one person owns the world and that they are too distracted to realise that the world owner had no power but the power that we gave him to begin with. They will never realise this because they will be too damned busy worrying about their children dying of polio and other diseases because the internet gave them the wisdom to make better educated decisions. They will be too busy working long hours for small pay trying to curb spiraling medical and education debt.
So yeah, I don't much think of the internet as our savior. It's more like a curse.
But enough of this, lets concentrate on the good stuff, like hey, America might have their first female President after their first black President!
What an awesome feat that shows how it's getting better every day with such big strides forward!!!
Every day in every way, I'm getting better and better.
I can just see rainbows streaming from the peoples asses already.
Thanks for all the fish.
